The road to crowning the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion will begin on the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown. In a tweet, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that the tournament would begin with a first-round match where Candice LeRae would face Bayley and B-Fab.

WWE will showcase a lot more of these first round three-ways on TV in coming weeks, so the format could get a little stale come the last couple. This was a promising start for the tournament though. Michael Cole and Corey Graves did well to put across how important being the first titleholder could be too.

WarGames continues as Friday Night SmackDown goes live tonight from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cody Rhodes is expected to appear on the show and there's no doubt as to what the WWE Champion will want to talk about.

WWE SmackDown's tag team division is full of incredibly talented teams, although many have been lacking in care and consideration from Triple H.
