To this point in the season Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has been far and away the best of the first year signal callers in the league. Last night on Thursday Night Football however, Daniels showed signs of slowing down during what has been one of the better rookie seasons in recent memory.

The Washington Commanders were the story of the NFL through nine weeks. At 7-2, Washington entered Week 10 facing the Pittsburgh Steelers and followed that up with a Thursday night game against division rival Philadelphia.

The Washington Commanders have fallen again. One week removed from a 28-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, albeit a short week, the squad hit the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. The star-studded NFC East squad got some separation from the Commanders in the division standings with a 26-18 win.
