Anthony Edwards had 36 points, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the shorthanded Sacramento Kings 130-126 in overtime on Friday to snap a three-game losing streak, overcoming a franchise record 60 points by De'Aaron Fox.

Fox’s 60 points breaks a franchise record that was previously held by Jack Twyman, who scored 59 on Jan. 15, 1960, against the Minneapolis Lakers. Unlike Fox, Twyman came out on the winning end for the team then known as the Cincinnati Royals.

De’Aaron Fox was an unstoppable force — he erupted for 60 points Friday night, a personal and Sacramento Kings franchise record. He was clutch in doing it, scoring 26 of those points in the final 17 minutes of the game.
