LOWELL, N.C. — Police investigated a report of a bomb threat at Holbrook Middle School in Gaston County on Thursday. The threat was made before 4 pm. Lowell Police Department and Gaston County Police Department responded to the school.

Tashua Elementary School in Trumbull was placed under lockdown Monday after a bomb threat was received in the afternoon, a school official said.

Just before 4 p.m. on Thurs, Nov. 14, a threat was made against Holbrook Middle School. Lowell and Gaston County police searched the campus, but they did not find a bomb. The ‘all clear’ has been given, and students have been released from the lockdown. The investigation into the threat will be handled by Lowell Police.

Authorities in Manitowoc say a bomb threat made towards a local elementary school on Monday was determined to not be credible. According to a release from the Manitowoc Police Department, another agency had made police aware of a vague bomb threat Monday night directed specifically toward the Madison Elementary School.
